"Underwater Dream", 40" x 30", acrylic on canvas, $3000
This painting is about a recurring dream I have about being able to swim under water. It is a wonderful, beautiful dream and I enjoy it each time. Growing up swimming in fresh water lakes there were many moments while underwater I enjoyed looking up at the sky. There were usually trees, clouds, other people, all very distorted as the water did it's magic on them. The moon is being refracted in the lower half of the painting, and my wonderful house where I grew up has shown up again for stability, love and support.

Bring your own project to work on, or paint the still life set up in the studio. Lessons are $20 per hour. Each lesson is two hours long.
One space available Thursday from 5-7 p.m.
