Zana Warm and Cool , 10" x 8", acrylic on canvas, Etsy
Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I continue to be inspired by a collection of old b&w photographs of my ancestors. Sometimes the back stories of my ancestors are totally inspiring, like this one about Zana (above).
She adopted her sister Anna's two sons following her sister's death. She was an original women's libber way before her time. Politically active. Involved in the arts. She promoted literacy and was an avid gardener. She went to business school and got a job. She also lived for 97 years. WOW!
I call this series of paintings THE ART OF MAKE BELIEVE.

This is going to be deja vu for so many of us. It's been years since I've shown my work at my house, so I'm extremely happy about this. It really will be a homecomeing and I hope you'll be able to join me.
The path I've taken beginning in my garage (like so many silicon valley companies, ha!), to downtown Campbell, to The Alameda Art Works, and now back home. I'm so excited about this event. Please stop by. I would love to see you, again!
