This is about the fifth painting that I've made on this canvas. The texture keeps building and building. I guess I could say it's been a practice canvas until I made this one. It's a keeper.

I'm trying something new. I have formed a meetup group that will be painting and drawing still lifes in my studio. It's going to be so fun. I get to paint along with everyone else. It's an uninstructed 2-hours of practice and experimentation.

"Fall Open Studios"
and Benefit for Sacred Heart Community Service
This is my first open studio event at my new studio. I hope you'll be able to
come out and see my new studio, meet my new studio mate, Lisa Paige as well as over 25 other artists who will have their studios open for exhibition and sale.
